I was initially attracted to this top purely because of the print. I love owls. They didn't have my size, so I had to buy it in large. But actually I'm rather liking how 'large' it is... it almost looks more like a cape. I wore it for my graduation ceremony, I think it looked pretty odd compared to most of the pretty dresses adorned that day!

70s hippy

I never fail to be inspired by images from the 70s. It was such an amazing era of change and freedom, it's incredible to see how much it affected fashion today. Bell bottoms, platforms, florals, unkept hair, fur, floaty fabrics........ I love it all!

Boots and Bloomers

I took total advantage of how cheap American Apparel is in America and went a bit wild. I picked up these sheer bloomers - something I was totally not expecting to find in American Apparel. With a pair of cycling shorts underneath they become the perfect pair of shorts. I'm also totally in love with my new Jeffrey Campbell for Free People boots - they look good with EVERYTHING!

After yet another raid of Jemma's wardrobe... and I discovered these incredible shorts. Topshop never fails to impress me with this kinda thing. So we went to the beach in New Jersey yesterday, it was absolutely beautiful. I'm afraid to say it put Brighton's pebble beach to shame... I'm not ready to leave this place!

I've just had the most incredible week working on the October catalogue for Free People. Rumi from Fashion Toast and Natalie from Natalie Off Duty were also modelling and they were absolutely lovely! It's so interesting meeting other fashion bloggers, especially if you've been following them for a while. I've still got the weekend here in Philadelphia so I'm going to take some more pictures for the blog, it's the perfect opportunity to make the most of my new camera!

Camping a la Wales

I've just come back from camping in Wales where I had the most incredible time! We danced around like drunken pirates on the beach until the early hours, woke up this morning feeling rather dizzy but it was all worth it! I'm off to America on Monday so I probably won't be able to blog for a week or so.... I can't wait to blog about the whole trip when I get back though! :)
