I've done quite a bit of travelling in my 22 years, but my experience in South America is one which I can't quite get out of my head. These photos send me so nostalgic, I almost feel like crying I miss it so much. I recently came across this photo of me with this random old Brazilian man in this strange "bar" we ended up in (I say "bar" in quotes as it looked like someones falling apart kitchen, also the toilet had no door so you had to wee with a friend hiding you!). Sometimes I think about going back, and never returning. "Porque no?" was the over-used phrase of the experience, which translates as "Why not?", a phrase that has got me into a lot of trouble ever since!
How old was that old man? Not quite as old as your old ma, I think!
