Silk dress

My new silk dress from Topshop Boutique.... obsessed. Love how it hangs and how ridiculously oversized it is.There's nothing delicate about it, but that's why I like it. Apart from the fabric which is 100% silk. To be honest I think £80 is bloody good value for what you get with this beauty. Shoes are All Saints, they're a brilliant replacement from those ones that literally everyone bought from Topshop! Shame they actually belong to my housemate and not me!

Outfits

Some recent favourite outfits. Top photo I'm wearing a jumper by Zara, Topshop lace shorts and Kurt Geiger boots. Second photo is all Topshop and KG boots. Last photo Topshop coat, Cambridge satchel bag and yes, once more, those bloody Kurt Geiger boots! Clearly obsessed! Have a lovely weekend everyone, I'm going to Shoreditch House tonight with my beloved GBF Kai and the gang... very excited for the weekend eeeeee!!! xxx

Bralets Galore

It's been an ongoing obsession of mine for over a year now.... bralets with a midi or maxi skirt. I admit, I need to find new ways of wearing bralets. Maybe with trousers... although I'm not much of a trousery person.... Funnily enough, I always hated the idea of leather bralets. But saw the above photo of Wasson in a leather bralet AND she's wearing it with trousers - I think it looks amazing! 

What's inspiring me right now....

 I've heard someone say before that they think 'inspirational posts' are a boring cop out. I think this is total bull*** as quite frankly they are what I enjoy the most! It is a huge part of my job to look for inspirational images, therefore if it was a meaningless, boring thing to be interested in or post about then I'd definitely say I was in the wrong industry! I love getting ideas from other peoples outfits, photographs and blogs. It's that combination of ideas that ultimately produces my own ideas.... all original in some way, but they definitely came from somewhere! Anyway, rant over, I'm feeling very inspired by embellishment at the moment (as you can see, that embellished bra in particular!). Also excited for the new pastel colour palette for SS12. Floral organza a la Christopher Kane SS12. Cosmic prints. Aztecs. Still loving my winter fashions though, still desperate for a multi coloured fur like the one in the last picture! New house and new wardrobe

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!! So sorry for the huge blogging break, I've literally only just got the internet. Can you believe it - I was without a home for over 2 months, staying on friends... it was hard work! All I can say to anyone who is looking for a new place to live in London (especially East London), doesn't have a fortune but at the same time doesn't want to live in a squat - give yourself at least 4 months to look! It certainly aint easy! Anyway, a few snaps are of my new house (which I love, its so homely!) and some new clothes I have obtained recently. Going for the whole metallic thing.... but in a less girly way. I love this almost armour-like metallic vintage dress. It looks a bit dirty and haggard, but I like that. Also picked up the metallic skirt at a vintage fair in Balham... can't believe it's vintage?!?! and O.M.G I cannot quite explain how much I love my new fluffy jumper (see last pic)! I think I will be living in this from now on. All art work is of course done by my very talented father, my house is pretty much a homage to his work! So glad to be back and carry on blogging ! x
